Kirsty Johnson received her Ladies Champion Shield at the South-East Lancs Cross-Country League Presentation Evening held at Horwich RMI Social Club. It was fitting that she had her photograph taken with both her Mum and Dad and league stalwarts and supporters Bill and Margaret Buckley. Well done Kirsty!
Andy Burnett continued his marvellous run of recent form with yet another PB at the BUXTON PAVILION GARDENS 5K. Andy clocked a very swift 20.10 for 13th position out of 82 runners.
Rachel Walton travelled up to run the 14 mile DENTDALE RUN as part of her marathon training and clocked an excellent 2.03.14 to finish 263rd/447 runners.

GDHrs were out in force at several parks this weekend including Oldham, Marple, Lyme Park, Pennington Flash, Northala Field and Penrhyn. Runs of the day included Ben Tetler’s excellent time 18.35 for 2nd place at Oldham and a 6th position and 70% age-grading for John Hewitt on the tough Lyme park course. Also in preparation for a Spring marathon, Caity Rice ran a PB of 1.31.08 and was 11th female at the VITALITY NORTH LONDON HALF-MARATHON
Steve Crossman clocked 2.20, Cheryl Stitt 2.41 and Ian Oates 2.44 at the SPEN 20 in Cleckheaton.
Ultra Nick Ham finished the 51K HAWORTH HOBBLE in 6.51.22
