Saturday was the last counter in the MANCHESTER AREA CROSS-COUNTRY LEAGUE at a very muddy Wythenshawe Park. Excellent running by all but special mention for Caity and Kirsty who finished 2nd and 3rd respectively in the five race series. This represents a tremendous achievement in a highly competitive league. Well done also to Jo Brack who finished 9th in her age category in her first full season, Zoe for running with mini-pixie and to Jamie and Dan for fine individual performances.
The all-conquering Senior Womens team
Chris Jackson had another outstanding performance to finish 5th in the popular PARBOLD HILL RACE. Chris clocked 46.57 for the 6.75 mile course. Matt Crompton was 83rd in 57.32. 442 ran
