Alan Scholefield had an excellent run at the SALFORD 10K and recorded a personal best time. Newcomer David Chrystie-Lowe also registered a PB and was 1st home for the club. GDH results:-

Parkrun Corner

Runners at Woodbank, Oldham (where Emma had her birthday run), Livingston. Marple, Lyme Park (Steve Knight 2nd) and Glossop where Matt C, Lawrence and Ezme all recorded personal best times.

A border raiding party travelled to North Wales to take on the LLANTYSILIO fell race, a counter in the WFRA NORTH WALES SERIES sponsored by Cotswold Outdoors. All ran well, Tim B and Chris (top 10), Alasdair (top 20) and Carl (33rd) enjoying fell racing again after a long injury lay-off



There was a great turnout of 21 harriers at the HOLLINGWORTH LAKE 5K, the 2nd counter in the Road/Trail Championships. Steve K was 1st home followed by Neil and Phil. Kirsty took the 30 points in the female champs with Caity in 2nd. On a great day for the club, we won the ladies team prize with Cheryl packing well, men 2nd team beating Salford, Neil 1st V40, Steve 3rd V45, Mary 1st FV55, Jereon, David C-L and Lawrence 1st, 2nd, 3rd V55, Ezme 3rd FU16 and a host of PBs,

Well done to Anne McBride who was racing to raise funds for Willow Wood Hospice at the STANWICK 10K. She completed the course in 65.50 with Charlie in support.

On her Just Giving page she said “So pleased with race result – 65 mins 50 secs. very windy
but rain stopped. Stanwick is not flat! It was too hard for me to enjoy but I was certainly
happy before and after. “



Well done to new member Claire Campbell who was 3rd FV40 in 1.20.18 at the WEST WIGHT THREE HILLS race over 8 miles. It’s always nice to see the blue and orange vest being worn in races further afield. Nice one Claire!
